Hi, I'm Red according to the rescue but my previous owners called me Hank and I respond well to that! The only reason my previous owners had to give me up is because their neighbors had small children that would tease me through the fence and I became upset with them because they were so mean to me. Other than that – I am a VERY good boy! I'm a little shy in new situations but I warm up quickly and I'm very friendly with dogs, cats, and kids that are respectful towards me. I am so good with other dogs that I would prefer to live with at least one because they give me more confidence in new situations. I am fully house trained and I am allowed free roam of the house while my foster family is at work (up to 10 hours at a time). I don’t do well being confined in a kennel or a basement and my foster family doesn’t know how I would do left alone without another dog but with another dog, able to roam a part of the main living area, I do great! I love playing fetch and squeaking my toys until I'm all tired out. I'm great at snuggling on the couch or bed but I'm also perfectly happy snoozing on a dog bed. I know how to sit and shake and I'm pretty good at coming when called. I am currently a little overweight but I have lost a couple pounds already and am ready to lose some more! I love the fenced in yard (6 foot) at my foster home, I can spend lots of time out there smelling all the good smells! I am also very good on a leash. My foster family loves rubbing my giant ears and I just lay my head in their lap and close my eyes. I'd love to become the newest member of your family and go for ALL THE CAR RIDES, because I love those!
