Hi, my name is Sidney and I’d like to be your new friend!  I am a little guy, but most people think I am the perfect sized dog.  I am very laid-back and would love nothing more than to take a long nap snuggled up with you after a quiet stroll through the neighborhood.  In other good news, I am house trained and crate trained.  My foster mom leaves me in the kennel during the day when she is at work and she says I do a great job in there.  Sometimes I need a little nudge to get in the kennel but I never argue about it.  My foster mom hasn’t tried to leave me out of the kennel unsupervised yet, but I think I’d do a good job.  Also, I have learned my name and I sit well when asked.  My foster mom is working with me to learn other basic commands, and she says I am very smart so I will learn quickly.  I love all kinds of people, the big ones and the little ones.  I also get along great with dogs, as they are my own kind!  I like when I get to go to the dog park with my foster mom and sister.  My foster sister likes to run and catch the frisbee, while I prefer to trot around and meet all the people.  If we skip the dog park and take a walk instead, I do great on a leash!  I walk well and do not pull.  My foster mom thinks I should teach my foster sister some leash manners!  I am pretty quiet and don’t make a lot of noise, but sometimes I do whine a bit when I first go in the kennel, but that’s just because I don’t want you to leave me.  I settle down quite quickly and wait patiently for someone to come home.  I am a very outgoing guy and I want nothing more than to see you smile.  I promise I would make an excellent companion for any person or family that would have me!  Please pick me!!!
