Hello potential new family! As Suki's foster Mom I'm delighted to tell you all about this wonderful girl.  Suki is by far one of the sweetest, most tolerant, cuddly, happy-go-lucky dogs I've had the pleasure of watching (and I've watched a LOT of dogs).  While in her first few years she hasn't found her forever family just yet, she's really developed a great chill temperament and is quick to adjust to new situations.  Suki plays great with dogs of all sizes (it only took her about 1/2 day to warm up to my resident dog and really get into playing).  While she's great with meeting, playing and socializing with other dogs, Suki is all about her humans! This girl will snuggle with you until you can't take it anymore. She has good solid basic manners and currently we're working on improving her leash manners because she is a fast walker and wants to see and smell everything she can while out and about!  Suki isn't very food motivated so I've taken the 'praise' approach in her training because she's such a people pleaser.

Suki really loves to be your shadow. She wants to be near you in everything you do. She doesn't steal food off counters or try to jump up, but she will do a slow approach to you for a hug if you're receptive to her standing up and letting her hug you. If you don't want a hug, she knows No and Down/Off.  She's also really good at sneaking herself into your lap at any chance. She absolutely thinks she's a lap dog, and since she's such a good cuddle-bug I usually let her occupy my lap during t.v. time.  She also has an amazing puppy smile that will put you in a good mood in seconds.

Suki is still young and has so many years to be an amazing companion. I truly believe she would make an excellent emotional support dog, or even just a sweet, loving family pet as I know she would thrive in a home where human attention is in abundance.  She bonded quickly with me and while I love her to pieces, she deserves a permanent home with some good people so Myself and my resident dog can help out more good girls like her to find their homes.

Let us know when you'd like to meet Suki! See you soon!
