Bert  is Mr. Social and Personality! He loves nothing more than to play, snuggle, and just be by his people.  Bert  is submissive and does well with other dogs and children, he is very gentle, and does excellent on a leash other than occasional pulling towards squirrels. He is also gentle going up and down the stairs when a family member is walking with him and he patiently waits behind you.    He is potty trained and has not had any accidents in his foster home, but he did have two instances where he got nervous when meeting a new male and had a little accident. He didn’t mean to, he just got nervous and after a few minutes he was giving them kisses and rolling around playing with them.  Bert  doesn’t like being kenneled and does cry a little bit at night before going to bed, and needs encouragement to get into his kennel. He does so well during the day that he hasn’t had a need to be kenneled and you will find him laying in the sun with his favorite ducky toy or snuggled on the couch during the day when left alone.  Bert  would thrive in a home where his forever family can give him the attention he needs, because he does crave to be a part of the action. Everyone who has met  Bert  has absolutely loved him, including his loving personality and irresistible puppy dog eyes.
Bert's  adoption fee includes: Rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, bordetella vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, neuter, flea and tick preventive (while in rescue), heartworm preventive (while in rescue), pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Adoption fee: $325.00
