Shotgun acquired his name before coming to our rescue as he loves to ride Shotgun in vehicles. He’s a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix born 4/7/23.

He is a super lovable dog who gets along with big and small dogs, leaves the cats alone and likes all people. 

He loves nothing more than to cuddle close to you on the couch and be your shadow the rest of the time. I haven't had to kennel him but he does have his own bedroom at night at my house as he likes to play more than sleep if you take him to bed with you. It could be due to the fact that my two resident dogs also want the same spot in bed. He sleeps in his bedroom quietly all night. He is house broken as long as he has frequent potty breaks during the day. I would suggest keeping him contained in a big room with a pee pad if left alone for long periods of time until you figure out his routine.

He really is a little sweetheart who will fit into pretty much any household.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
