Socialization/who I currently live with: I have been with my foster family for a couple years now and have met more than a few dogs. Some are cool, others aren’t, but I haven’t hurt any…that I remember J

Sugar has been with her foster family for going on 3 years now. The only reason is she, we feel, a misunderstood dog. Also a lot of people want a dog they can take to the dog park, family get togethers, and just simply take out and about and have them automatically love all other dogs. Well this isn’t always the case. Now with proper introductions and monitoring she is quite capable of being that dog, mostly. She just doesn’t take crap from other dogs her size or bigger! That being said could you bring your dog to her house and they get along, yes. Can you just drop her off at doggy daycare and let her run free in a pack of 20 dogs, no. Does she sleep next to other dogs, yes. Eat with them, yes. Can she guard food, yes. Can she be stopped from doing that, yes. Sugar is quite the amazing dog. She loves people. She also scares people when they see her missing fur, again from her past life. She barks at new people, not because she wants to hurt them, but because she wants you to pet her. Please call and ask all about her before deciding she isn’t right for you! She is right for someone! You just have to understand her and know her! Once you do I am 100% positive you will know she deserves more then we as humans have given her so far in life! She will be your best friend and show you what love truly should be! I need to go now, I can’t type and pet her at the same time!
