Lucky is Mr. Mellow! He walks very well on a leash, he doesn't rush the fence when strangers walk by and even the cat doesn't excite him. He loves to go for walks and even though squirrels and other dogs get his attention, he doesn't pull on the leash. He loves having his neck scratched and enjoys being brushed. He's very smart and learns new commands easily, probably because he is so focused on paying attention. He is still learning that being in his crate isn't a bad thing but he's quiet and waits semi-patiently to be let out again. He has been around kids his whole life and does pretty well with all ages, older children would be ideal. He enjoys going for rides in the truck and when we stopped at the Home Depot, he enjoyed meeting people and walking around the store. 

Lucky's adoption fee includes: Rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, bordetella vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, spay, flea and tick preventive (while in rescue), heartworm preventive (while in rescue), pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Adoption fee: $$285.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
