"Meet FINN!  This sweet, little guy was the very last of his litter to be selected by a foster, so he was our #1 pick!  He's a delight to say the least.  Having fostered for nearly five (5) years, Finn is one of the very few puppies that needed time to 'settle-in.'  By this I mean Finn cried endlessly in his crate the first couple of days after arriving, so he slept with us - happily, soundly, and through the night.  Finn was in his crate during the day when we were gone and I discovered on day four (4) that he would be cry when he knew I was first home, but then he'd quickly quiet back down.  At this point we knew Finn was ready to sleep solo in his crate and he has slept there every since - happily, soundly, and through the night!  It's sweet to see that, as previously he was with all of his siblings and his mama, so his world had been thrown upside-down and he needed to adjust, as anyone would.  Finn is 90% potty-trained, having very few accidents, but he knows what he needs to do outside.  He rarely has an accident in his crate, it's instead when he's running around the house playing with resident dogs or chewing a bone and simply doesn't want to stop the fun!  Finn loves to have play, whether it be inside with puppy toys (he's great at entertaining himself, but loves it when you play with him and thoroughly enjoys playing with the resident dogs) or outside exploring the world around him.  Finn will sit on the shoreline of our pond and watch the frogs jump, the ducks fly overhead, and the geese swim by.  He loves to chew on sticks and the fallen apples, following you everywhere you go, curious what you're doing.  Finn quickly learned "sit," "down," and "stay," and is working to master other commands.  He loves going on walks and is getting used to a leash and on-leash commands. He eats alone in his crate, running full-speed to get there, hopping along the way in excitement, and sits, patiently waiting for his food to be set down.  When he's had enough playing Finn loves to nap with/on you.  It took him some time to know he's safe with us, but since getting comfortable he prefers to take his naps with/on us and doles out endless puppy-breath kisses.  Finn also likes to pick certain toys and bring them to you, sitting on your lap chewing on the toys, and will often look-up to the TV intrigued by the sounds he hears coming from it!  This little boy is a complete joy and deserves the best forever family; could it be yours?"
