Hi, my name is Hattie and I am in search of a loving forever home!  I don't know why, but my previous family gave me up, and while I miss them very much, I still have lots of love to give.  I love to go on walks and I do a good job waiting patiently for my foster mom to be ready.  I am house trained and don't have accidents.  My foster mom has worked with me and now I also am good in my kennel.  I don't like when she has to go to work, but I am good at staying in the kennel during the day.  I walk pretty well on the leash, but sometimes I get excited by the sight of squirrels.  I know sit, come, and my name very well.  I am working on learning some other commands!  I get along well with the other dogs I have met so far, but I prefer to just walk with them and I am not one to wrestle.  At first, I was really scared of all the new people, but now I feel safe again and I like meeting new people.  I have done well with the kids I have met and I don't mind them at all!  I also met a couple cats and they don't bother me either.  I know I am older, but I have a lot of life left to live and I really want to find a family to spend time with.  Can you open your heart and your home to me??  I promise you won't regret it!
