Hi, I’m Luke, nice to meet you.

I am happiest in a chaotic household with small children and another dog. Pretty sure I’d love to live with a cat also, just haven’t tried it out yet.

My foster family thinks I’m perfect. I’m polite. I am completely housetrained. I am not destructive in anyway (well…. Except dog toys, I’m pretty hard on them. Might need to switch to the “indestructible” level of them). I don’t usually jump on people. I am a huge love. I just want to love and be loved. If you ask me to, I’ll give you cute little kisses. I never kiss without an invitation (unless you are less than 5 yrs old, and especially if you are less than 5 and have food on your face that needs cleaning up).

I am good on leash, enjoy meeting new dogs. Love new situations. Sometimes sudden noises or movements startle me, I just jump back and get a good look at what I going on. I am really smart, so I just want to know about everything.

I like to herd. Small kids are really my favorite, and more than one is the type of challenge I like. Herding (keeping track of where they are) is what I do best. I am good at sharing my toys with them, even when they pull the toys out of my mouth.

My only real challenge is that men scare me. I’m fine with them after a couple minutes, but I can sound kinda scary at first. I like them, I just am afraid when I first meet them. We are working on this (I’m embarrassed and sorry… just need some love through it).

Luke's adoption fee includes: rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, Bordetella vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, neuter, flea and tick preventive,(seasonal) heartworm preventive (seasonal) pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Adoption fee:$325.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
