Dakota is approximately 14 weeks old Shepard/Mix. He was found as a stray in Sisseton SD. He has been with his foster family now for about 2 weeks and doing very well. He plays/eats/sleeps/potty just like them all.

He is not fully house trained yet but working on it and learned how to “sit” very quickly. He currently lives with his human foster fur brother and sister and even though sometimes they need there space they all get along really well. We think that Dakota would benefit going to a home that has another pet as he seems to love having a buddy and curls up with my dog at night. He is not 100% happy about the kennel but as long as he knows It’s not a bad thing and given a treat he does well. He is crated for about 6 hrs a day depending on how long my human fosters are at work. He loves to play fetch and tug of war he will play long as you will play with him and

Then he is loves to snuggle.

Dakota's adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, dewormed, Distemper vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, rabies vaccination, neuter,  prepaid microchip and heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $450.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
