Hi, my name is Ginger and I am looking for my forever family!  Could that be you??

NDLB rescued me and brought me up to Minnesota from Alabama.  It was a long trip and I wasn't sure what was happening, so I was a bit scared when I got here.  Luckily, a wonderful foster family showed me lots of love and patience, and I have figured out just how great it is up here in the north!

Since I have been here, I have learned how great people are and I love to be around my people.  I would gladly follow you around and keep watch for you!  I also get to live with other dogs and I love them.  We like to play together and it's so much fun!  I love kids too!  They are so sweet, and I have found that they will throw the ball for me lots.  And I love a good game of fetch!  I haven't met any cats yet, but I don't think I would mind them.

My foster family says I am a very smart and quick learner, and I don't want to argue with them.  I think I would love training classes or learning a dog sport, so if you adopt me, maybe we could do that together.  I also love to be outside, so if you are looking for a hiking partner or camping companion, I am the one for you!  I would love to find a family that would play outdoors with me and go on walks with me too.

My foster family thinks it's important for you to know that I am also house trained and crate trained.  I don't know why that matters though!  I do like to go in my crate, but because I am such a good girl, my foster family often lets me be free in the house when they are gone.  I don't get into any trouble!  And at the end of the day, I love to snuggle and to settle in for the night.  I will gladly sleep with you in your bed if you let me, but I also am happy to sleep on a pet bed too.  I really just want to find a family of my own, so that I can share all my love with them!  I hope my family finds me soon, as I'd love to spend the summer adventuring with my very own forever family!

Ginger's adoption fee includes: full veterinary exam, spay, prepaid microchip, dewormer, Rabies vaccine, Distemper combo vaccine, bordetella vaccine, 4DX, flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.  Ginger was treated for heartworm disease and will need a recheck in 6 months. Adoption fee:  $385.00
