Marissa is an adorable black and white Border Collie mixed. She is about 1 year old and very smart. She has never been very fond of her kennel, but is kennel trained if needed to be. Marissa is potty trained for the most part and is really good about going outside, with only an occasional accident. She has been the happiest dog that we have had. When she is really excited her tail wags about and her cute little frame joins right in. She has really come a long way from the timid/skittish sweetheart that we first met. Her skittishness still emerges a little with certain loud noises or certain loud people, but these times are few. She loves our other dogs and likes to play with the cats. Sometimes we will catch her looking out the windows, she really loves to watch outside. She does excellent on her leash and only pulls when she wants to go in. We feel any family that loves a high energy, love bug will be great for her.

Marrissa's adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, spay, prepaid microchip,  dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
