Wylie is a 6 ish yr old German Shepard mix, who came  to no dog left behind  as a feral stray,  She  was trapped by the Retrievers and no dog left behind volunteers after being out on her own for 10 months. She evaded being “caught” for 6 weeks. She was hearworm positive, so needed treatment for that and Ehrlichiosis. We have fostered her over the past 2 years, with the help of Max and Teresa ( from my dogs best friend), coming to our home, several outsourced resource experts on feral dogs and support from NDLB, Wylie is learning how to live a dogs good life. She loves her dog sister Norma, and is learning to trust humans through Norma’s engagement and experiences. She gains confidence in spurts, and often we are one step up, 2 back, then a leap forward, on her terms. She has a very sweet and shy nature and needs a lot of space and patience to earn her trust. She has come to love her spot on the couch, getting to eat 2 square meals a day and the company of her fur sister Norma.

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
