Bartleby (Bart for short) appears to be a dachshund mix.  He is still a puppy and loves to play with toys so much he is kind of possessive of them.  He has no problem running around the yard keeping up with much larger dogs.  He has been very friendly with everyone, but he is a bit nervous when forced to go somewhere new.  He warms up with time, but requires a bit of patience in a new situation.  He is uncomfortable on hard floors, but learns in time.  He sleeps in a room with a few other dogs and does very well at night.  He is kenneled when no one is home and although he doesn't like it, he is quiet and accepting.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Neuter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, heartworm/tick disease screening, Rabies vaccine, Distemper combo vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $450.00
