Evelyn is a rescued puppy from Houston and is very shy.   She gets along well with my dog, in fact, Evelyn runs to her when we are outside.  She is a normal puppy and loves to run, play, and wrestle with her sister.  Evelyn does not bark and is in really good health. 

Evelyn is still learning about trusting humans.  She will eat food out of human hands, but is not completely comfortable coming to them.   Her favorite place is under the kitchen table.  

She goes into her kennel without much fuss, in fact, it’s a safe place and she likes to sleep there. However, Evelyn is not truly crate trained.  Evelyn is not house trained either, but follows a good schedule and it won’t be much longer before she will be trained.  

As a puppy, Evelyn likes to chew on bones and rawhide.  It keeps her happy and out of trouble.  Not sure if Evelyn will need a fenced yard or not.  Evelyn is so shy, she doesn’t run very far and if spooked, comes running to our back door.  Evelyn and I go on walks in our backyard without a lead, so not sure how she would react to one. 

Evelyn is very loving, shy, quiet cautious and would love a patient human to continue to teach her what it feels like to be loved by all people.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distmper combo vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $375.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
