Jonathan is a cutie pie!!  He came to us from the aftermath of the hurricanes last year in the south.  He came in with 3 other pups all that had heartworm.  We got him the treatment that he needed and now he is looking for his forever home!! Jonathan is a shy boy and is somewhat independent. He does like to lay next to you on the couch but does not need constant attention.  Jonathan is on the shy side but warms up quickly.  He does very well in his kennel. He does very well going outside to go potty as long as he stays on a schedule.  He gets along well with dogs of all sizes and he does not care about cats.  Jonathan does well with older children but may be a bit too scared of little ones. Jonathan would love a nice quiet home maybe with another dog to hang out with and some people to love him.  He is shy when you first meet but he does warm up over time.  He will need a few weeks to get acclimated to his new home.  How can you say no to that poor little face?!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, rabies vaccine, neuter, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:$285.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
