Heidi is a beautiful, sweet and graceful little girl! She gets along with everyone and likes other dogs and does not care about cats. She can be a little timid with unfamiliar people and situations, but she warms up quickly. Heidi does very well with dogs of all sizes. She does well with kids but would do best in a home with older more mellow kids. Heidi does well on her leash and never pulls. She does like to stop and sniff a lot and I like to let her, but she will walk when prompted. She is independent and does not need a lot of attention. Heidi was found living outside and while I believe she had a home at some point she still needs some training with commands but loves her kennel and goes outside on a schedule. She is smart, loyal and generally treat motivated and I have been making good progress with her.  Heidi is a very sweet and mellow girl and would do well in any home that is on the quiet side, that will take her for walks and let her lay next to you when watching TV and even sleep with or by you.  

Heidi's adoption fee includes: full veterinary exam, spay, dental, prepaid microchip, dewormer, Rabies vaccine, Distemper combo vaccine, bordetella vaccine, 4DX, flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $295.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
