Hi my name is Tiger, but my foster parents call me Tig. They say it fits me better because I’m calm and quirky. I’m a 2 ½ year old mountain cur mix. When I first arrived I was a timid and cautious but I'm learning that people are fun and caring and now I'll quickly warm up to you and have found that I love belly rubs and snuggling with my family. I’ll even give you a kiss if you’re lucky! I’ve been living with my foster family for a while now as they were helping me get rid of the heartworms I had. After a few trips to the vet they say I’m all better and ready for my forever home!

While I’ve been in foster care I’ve been lucky to live with some great fur-foster brothers and sisters. I love other dogs, we get to snuggle and play, I would really, really like to find a family where I could have a sibling who’s around my size, other dogs make me feel more comfortable around people. Because of my slight timidness I'd probably do best in a home with older children.

Inside the house I’m a bit of an escape artist, I really don’t like kennels and I’ve been known to jump over my pen but I promise I’ll keep the house in good order while you’re away. I’m potty-trained and can make it through a long day alone without a problem, and I do great on long car rides. When I go outside I enjoy playing fetch, I’ll stick around the yard and come when called. I’ve also learned some things while being in foster care, I know how to “sit”, “lay down”, “kennel” and usually “stay”. I also have learned to wait before receiving my food and going outside. I don’t bark or jump much at all and have good house manners. I’d love to call you mine!
