My name is Kava! My pawster mom calls me Kava Bella because she says I am beautiful. I am originally from Alabama, but I love Minnesota. I am shy when it comes to people and need time to warm up. When I came to stay with my Pawster mom I acted like did not need anyone but my friend Reno who is also from Alabama. The truth is I just needed time to learn what real love was and now…. I LOVE to be loved. I am working on my social skills a still like my space. I do give lots of kisses and like to sleep close to my pawster mom. I still do not like to be picked up very much and I don’t like leashes, but I am working on it. I am not a big fan of baths and pedicures, but I do pretty well. I love to run in the back yard and do zoomies, I also like to spin in circles a lot. I would like a back yard and plenty of time to run around and enjoy the sights and sounds. I don’t mind cats, but I do get very jealous when I don’t get all the attention. I like to bark, mostly at people and sometimes the neighbor dogs. I may growl when someone comes into my sleep space and I do get scolded for being selfish. I do potty outside, but still have some accidents. I am working on just going outside for potty, but I can use pee pads too. I sometimes go in the car to go to the vet and I do good and like to look around. I can stay in my crate for several hours, but I do not like to be in there at night. I would like to stay with my friend Reno because we understand each other and have a lot in common. I feel lost and scared when he is not around, he is my best friend!

Kava's  adoption fee includes: DHPP vaccinations, Bordetella vaccination, Rabies vaccinations, de-wormer, flea and tick preventative, heartworm preventative, pre-paid microchip, spay, 4DX, dental, and a full veterinary exam:$285.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
