My name is Reno! I am originally from Alabama and I came with my best friend Kava. When I first met my pawster mom, I was very scared. I would not come near her and ran away all the time. She gave me time and space and after a few weeks I really started to like her soft talks about how I was safe and she would like to be friends. I started letting her rub my belly and now… I hooked! I love belly rubs!!!! If you could just rub my belly all day and tell me what a good boy I am I would be happy forever. I am still very nervous of all people and bark at everyone I see. My pawster mom has a hard time having friends over, but I really believe I am all she needs anyways. I love to run in the yard with my friend Kava and we do zoomies and chase each other all day long. I bark at the neighbor dogs and do get territorial. I am working on my social skills and hope to be able to go to the park and visit with nature. I like to sleep close to my Pawster mom and love cuddles. I do not like to share her at all, and get pushy when she shows attention to anyone else. I was told I would have to work on sharing and that I would still be loved and I am still the best boy. I potty outside and on pee pads. I do still mark my territory and have gotten a lot better. I do not like leashes very much, but I am working on relaxing more. I can stay in my crate for several hours, but do not like to be in there overnight. I cry a lot and keep my family awake. I am  pretty low to medium energy. I can go in spurts and then need rest before more play. I do not like toys unless they are just for chewing. Squeaky toys scare me! I would like to stay with my best friend, Kava. I love her and am scared and sad when we are apart.

Reno's adoption fee includes: DHPP vaccinations, Bordetella vaccination, Rabies vaccinations, de-wormer, flea and tick preventative, heartworm preventative, pre-paid microchip, neuter, 4DX, dental, heartworm treatment and a full veterinary exam:$285.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
