Hi, my name is Candy and I am so excited to find my forever home! I am a 4 year old standard dachshund. I am very snuggly and love to curl up on the couch beside my people, I also enjoy sleeping in bed with you. It takes me a little time to know I can trust my humans so be patient with me, it will pay off when I come around. Once I do, I love to give kisses and follow you around the house. I get along well with other dogs but not so much with cats. I am house trained and keeping me on a schedule works well.    I love to explore the outside, be careful though because I love to chase rabbits and squirrels so a fenced in yard is best for me. I do well on my leash and rarely bark. I am adjusting to my kennel and will go in easily. I get really excited and nervous when my people come home and let me out. I have so much love to give so please take me home!
