Hi-

My name is Priscilla.  I am a 6-month old pure-bread Alaskan Malamute.  I’m looking for my new family and my forever home.  I love my foster parents but they have two dogs already and have little time and space available to take me on; although they would like to keep me.

Let me begin by saying that I’m very energetic and love to play and wrestle.  My fosters parents tell me to stop jumping up on them and chewing on their hands when they come home from work, but they don’t understand that I’m a puppy and love to give hugs and chew on things.  I’m working on both of these.  I’m very friendly with large and small dogs, kids, and neighbors.  I’m potty trained, but I still have accidents in the house if I cannot be let out on a regular basis.  If I get my walk everyday it’s not a problem; I promise.  I insist that my new home be equipped with a fence so I can roam around in the yard and take naps on the lawn without anyone having to worry about me escaping.  I’m also hopeful that my new home will be with a mom and dad who understand the needs of a working breed like me.  I’m very energetic and will require a lot of attention and parenting to expend my pent-up energy and wanting to be active.   I’ll be ok if left out in the yard with some serious shade in the summer.  In the winter, just check on me every so often.  Most times I’ll be napping and dreaming of my next treat.

Lastly, and I must warn any prospective adopters, I am terribly cute and cuddly.  One visit will probably turn into a fast decision to adopt me.  So, serious adopters only please.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, spay, prepaid microchip,  dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $450.00
