If you are looking for a ridiculously sweet puppy, you need to meet Marlee!  She is seven months old and full of energy and personality.  There is never a dull moment when Marlee is around! :)  Marlee is on the road to being house-trained, and has only had a couple of accidents during her time with us.  She is very good at going potty outside, but has not learned how to tell us when she needs to go, so scheduled breaks work best for her right now.  She is kennel-trained and will only whine for a little bit when we put her to bed at night, then she sleeps like a champ!  Marlee gets along wonderfully with our 3-year-old NDLB rescue, Sampson, and would definitely do well in a home with a playmate because she has lots of puppy energy!  She eats her meal in the kitchen at the same time as Sampson and shows no food aggression.  She has not been around cats, but has shown a lot of interest in the rabbits in our neighborhood.  She has not spent a lot of time around kids, but when we pass them on our walks she will sit down and let them pet her for a short time, then she wants to move on.  Marlee does very well on a leash both while walking on her own and with our dog, and falls asleep during car rides!  Since Marlee has so much energy, she does like to jump quite a bit, which we are working on.  She jumped on our kitchen table the first day she was with us, but this has not happened since her first redirection.  She has also shown interest in trying to jump over the short part of the fence by our deck, which is about three feet high; therefore, a fenced-in backyard is highly recommended to curb Marlee's curiosity!  She is also still in a chewing phase, but bully sticks have helped with that.  She is a very quick learner and has perfected "sit" and "lay down," and is showing progress with "come" and "stay."  Marlee is a huge cuddle bug and loves to give kisses and hugs, play with a frisbee and play keep-away with a variety of toys.  She loves to plop down anywhere in the house and make herself comfortable!  Anyone who adopts Marlee will be incredibly lucky - we would keep her if we could!!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, spay, prepaid microchip, 4DX (heartworm/tick disease testing), dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
