Garth is an 8 week old (born April 16, 2018) lab mix that came to Minnesota with her mama and 4 siblings to find his forever home. Garth quickly became a fan favorite because of his size and his fluffy fur. He is a sweet boy that is always happy to play with his mama, siblings or humans. When he tires out he's happy napping on his own or in the pile with his siblings. He also loves the one on one attention of sitting on my lap and has the biggest tail wag when he meets anyone new. He's always been the biggest of the litter and can go both up and down the stairs. He loves treats and will climb the stairs on the deck from the backyard when she hears the crinkle of the bag and me yelling "treat" when it is time to come inside. If I catch him right when he wakes up or after he eats and get him outside, he knows exactly what to do to go potty.   He's had a lot of quality time with mama to learn all kinds of things and  seems to be a pretty smart boy who will be fairly easy to train with treat incentives.  We don't know about the male but mama is on the small side for a lab not weighing in too much more than about 30-35 pounds. Garth will most likely do well in a home with other dogs and/or children.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $385.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
