Having lived with his foster family for three weeks now, Hayden has started to come out of his shell and is ready for adoption. He is more aware of the outside world and loves his walks on the city trails and parks. A bundle of energy, he is very comfortable on a leash, while he runs in circles around you or struts around like a pony.

Hayden is kennel trained and can comfortably spend the night in it, locked up, provided he is right there in the bed room with you. However, given a chance, he does love to sleep next to his foster mom and dad at night.

He is responding very positively to his potty training and is more or less 80% trained.  After a night's sleep in his kennel, he eagerly waits to be taken outside where he promptly goes about his business. He is a very quick learner and his foster dad feels that he has more of a Chihuahua in him, given all the positive traits.  

He is quite good with other dogs and adjusted with his 'Fur-ster' sister right away. This boy loves the outdoors, playing with toys and adores belly rubs. He also likes chasing the water coming out of a garden hose or running crazily in circles around a table/ any object while trying to play with his foster family members. 

 At 9 pounds, Hayden is the perfect lapdog and oozes sweetness once he gets to know and trust you. This cute little guy will steal your heart once you meet him. Are you his forever mom and/or dad?  

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
