I am a 1 ½-2 year old, 8 pound Pekingese mix.  I came to rescue with my two puppies from a hoarding situation.  I am a little scared at first but I do love to be held and I love sitting beside my human all day long if I can.  I do not like to be alone so another smaller dog would be good to keep me company.  I go into a kennel by myself when my humans are away and sometimes at night but I really prefer snuggling next to someone to keep me warm.   Because of my size I would not do well with young children.  I would be great company for someone who is looking for a loving companion.  I need to be in a fenced in yard or a very safe collar and leash because I get scared and could be very hard to catch.  I walk well on the leash with my foster mom.  When I get excited and happy I twirl around in circles and smile!    

Hermonie's adoption fee includes: rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, Bordetella vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, spay, flea and tick preventive,(seasonal) heartworm preventive (seasonal) pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Adoption fee: $425.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
