Hello My name is Franklin but my foster mom calls me Frankie.  I am a big boy at 120 pounds but I still think I am a lap dog.  I am potty trained and know how to sit.  I walk well on a leash until I see another dog and then I really pull hard because I really like to play with other dogs.  We are working on that. I know I am handsome because when we are walking cars slow down to admire me, some even stop to say hello.  I am friendly to everyone I meet.  My foster mom is working on my house manners.  I tend to help myself to food on the counter since it is at eye level, but otherwise she says I am a perfect gentleman.   I like to play with my toys and hang out with my family.  I really just want to be where everyone else is.  I like to cuddle and play tug of war (I always win that game).  I am really a gentle giant and can be part of a family with kids and other dogs.  I spend most of my day just following my foster mom around the house and garden or sleep under her desk when she is working.  I am great in the car and like to go up north with my foster family.  I stay close by them except when they are swimming.  I won’t go in the lake but I will go for boat rides.  I really just want a person or family to call my own but they should own a really big bed.

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
