Luna is a young mixed breed girl with a perpetual happy smile on her face who is always up for adventure.  She loves to be active and playing, with both people and other dogs!  She is excellent with other dogs (of her size or bigger) loves to play and sometimes she can play rough so she needs another dog that can handle her extreme play; but is respectful of those who don’t want to join in her games as well.  She is always up for a wrestling match but her most favorite is to grab a toy and race around the yard with the other dogs chasing her.  Luna isn’t just a pretty face either.  This girl has some major smarts!  She is housetrained, crates for the workday (though needs a sturdier crate or when she gets bored she’ll show off her Houdini skills!), and learns things in a flash.  If you are looking for a dog to teach anything to, this is your girl.  She loves to learn anything and everything and she’s very food motivated.  Luna’s biggest need in her forever home is a home that understands she is a young, active, intelligent dog who gets bored easily and will find her own ways to entertain herself if she is not given enough mental and physical exercise. Luna will need a job to do and she will need to continue dog training.   She loves to go for walks, dog playdates, toys, food puzzles, and learning tricks and training so she makes it easy to tire out her mind and body but she does need a home who is willing to make that commitment to her. Luna has shown great interest in sled pulling and it has been a great way to keep her mind and body busy.

Luna's ideal home is one that will keep her active and entertained.  She does not do well with small farm animals or cats.  Because she plays hard she should be in a home with a dog her size if not bigger.

Luna's adoption fee includes: rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, Bordetella vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, spay, flea and tick preventive,(seasonal) heartworm preventive (seasonal) pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Adoption fee:$425.00
