"Hi!! I'm Gizmo and I am about 10 weeks old. I am having so much fun at my foster home. They have 3 BIG dogs for me to play with. Well they are big because I am only about 5lbs. I hear that I might get bigger because I am a Shepherd mix. Foster mom thinks I am so funny and cute. I mean look at me. I am wearing a bow tie, of course I am cute. A little about me. I am a good boy and eat my meals nicely. I am fed about 3 to 4 times a day, smaller meals, as I am a puppy and growing. I mastered these things called "stairs" in my first few days at home. I can fly up and down them now! It is so much fun. I also respond to my name Gizmo , it's adorable! I come when I am called and get treats for it. Yum, I love treats. I love to play! Like love it. My foster brother Moe, he is a big guy, 64lbs, he lets me chew on his fur and roll around like a little shark while attached to him. He loves me. My foster sisters, Abby and Stacey, they like to play with me too. Stacey and I are closer in age, well she's 1, so she has energy to burn like me. Well gotta go, time to eat again!!" As you can see Gizmo is a boy that is constantly on the go. He is learning about potty training and we think he is understanding that he needs to do his business outside. He keeps his kennel clean during the night and day. He is still a baby though and on occasion will have accidents in the house. If you are not prepared to deal with that a puppy is not for you. What his foster is looking for in his new home is a family who will love him, continue to teach and train him, be there for him and above all LOVE HIM. He is going to need a lot from you in the first few months. He will need to be let out for potty every 2 hours or so, play, play and more play. So if you are ready to hunker down and have him be the light of your day, evening, weekends and life then he is your guy!
Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue.
