Hello All!!

My name is Ronnie. My people call me Ronald, Won Ton, Rizznold, but I’ll come to anything as long as you have treats, or a smile on your face. The beginning of my life was a little rough. My mama tells me every day that I will never have to live outside, or be around bad people like I was, ever again. When my mama came to get me I was Soooooo Scared. I was covered in ticks, burs, and don’t even get me started on how knotted my fluff was. I didn’t know how beautiful I actually am. Or how wonderful people, belly rubs, and head pets are for that matter. It took me a couple of days to warm up to my mama, before I knew who she was. She sang to me, brushed me, and fed me in my kennel until I worked up enough courage to move for the first time. Fast forward a little bit, and she taught me to walk outside!! The first time I went back outside after I was rescued was a disaster. Mama got me a harness I couldn’t wiggle out of, and found the treats that I like (ham), I slowly but surely started to enjoy being drug down the sidewalk. It took awhile, but now I LOOVEEE Walks. So far, I haven’t found one person or thing I haven’t liked yet (except loud noises and some sharp movements). I live with 5 girls and they play something called a sport? When I play, I play everything, not just a sport. One is my mama and the rest are my favorite girls. They have new friends over all the time and their new friends are my favorites too. My cat brothers that I live with are my friends. They don’t know we’re friends because they ignore me, but we are!

Anyway, I am looking for a very consistent life. New things are cool, but it takes me awhile to start to like them. That, and the car. I’m still working on the car….  I love to lay on the couch and chew on my mamas shoes. She brought home some toys that feel like shoes, but they don’t smell like them. We’ll see which I like more over time. Lastly, another new thing that I have started to enjoy is snow. Snow makes me so happy because it is fluffy, white, and makes you want to snuggle. Remind you of something??

Ronnie's adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Neuter, 4DX (tick/heartworm testing), prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:$695.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
