Hi I'm Penny, the wonder dog! I had a few rough first months of my life, but now I'm enjoying all the comforts of home and I love them! I am super sweet, well mannered, quiet, smart, and loving. I love soft things like couches, beds, and blankets. I enjoy snuggling up to my people and am just a big lap dog looking for love and attention. 

 

I love kids of all ages and am excellent with them. I want to see what they're up to all the time and will follow them around because they are so much fun! I let them brush me and don't mind if they touch my tail, face, or feet. I also love dogs and am ultra friendly and playful. I enjoy rough and tumble play and will play for HOURS if I have the opportunity to. I'm not a big fan of being left all alone and I get scared. Other dogs and people make me feel safe so I require a home where I'm not the only dog. Since I am so active and playful, I'd do best if matched with another playful, medium-large sized dog. It'd be great if someone was home at least part of the time, too.

 

I'm pretty much potty trained but I'm so quiet I won't bark or whine at the door. I will go to the door most of the time to be let outside but won't make a peep! Sometimes if no one notices me, I will have an accident in the house. I bet I'd be great with bell training. I'm still young so sometimes I chew on things I don't know aren't mine. I'm easily redirected to my own toys. I especially love balls and plushes. I don't resource guard or have any food aggression. I even let the resident toddler sit and play in my food while eating. I'm not super food motivated but I respond well to positive praise and attention, so I'll be easy to train. 

 

So that's me! I'm just a big princess who loves to be loved and close to people and other dogs. I will bond quickly to my forever home and will make one family very lucky to have me!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, rabies vaccine, spay, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $650.00
