Hi guys! I’m Rosie! I’m 7 months old and a golden retriever mix. I have insanely silky soft fur that you’ll just love to pet.
I’m very obedient. I truly desire human praise and love. I hear that some dogs are food motivated but with me I just want you to say that I did a good job!! Don’t get me wrong I’ll perform for treats too!!
I know how to go potty outside and will alert you when I need to go! I can sit and stay. I learned how to do it by listening to your voice but also by hand commands. Hand commands alone won’t work if there’s a lot going on around me because I get too distracted by it. I know my name and love to come when called!
I love to be outside however I get really bouncy when I’m on the leash. I’m still working on learning how to walk on it.
I love to use my kennel as a safe spot when I get overwhelmed and for sleeping at night. I am very shy around new people and I like to sniff their hands before I allow them to pet me without wincing.
I love to be around other dogs and children of all ages! My foster siblings are 1, 4 and 7. I’ve been living with 3 fuzzy foster siblings as well. I love them lots!!!
I’m said to do well with cats but my foster mom doesn’t have any so can’t attest to that directly.
I really like to chew things. Sometimes things that I shouldn’t. My foster mom has been watching me closely and replacing naughty items (as she calls them) with super fun toys. I really like toys.
I really want a home where I will be loved in and praised for the good things that I do!
