Hi! My name is Fern, but my foster Mom calls me Fabulous Fern, or Fern the Fantastic. I came from a shelter in Kentucky. They say my previous owner "surrendered" me and I was in a kennel there all by myself. One day a nice lady came in to pick up some other puppies bound for Minnesota and saw me - so she took me too! My paperwork says I'm a lab mix, but I was surrendered all alone so no one knows who my Mom or Dad were, but as you can see I'm darn cute whatever I am! I'm about 9 weeks old and weigh a whopping 7 pounds.

I live with two foster fur brothers, Bart and Sawyer, and I love them both! My brother Sawyer and I run and play like crazy - sometimes he even lays down so I can crawl on top of him and play king of the hill! Bart is older and a little grumpy sometimes, but I respect his grumbles and give him space when he tells me no. I love toys of all kinds - I even fetch a tennis ball! Mom says I don't run, I GALLOP like a tiny pony, and it's the cutest thing you've ever seen! When I'm done with my zoomies I like to cuddle in your lap and watch TV.

I'm a quiet girl in my puppy pen - I snuggle with the stuffies in my kennel and if I have to go potty when I'm in there I always use the puppy pad - Mom thinks that's pretty impressive. I prefer to go potty outside like a big girl though, and do pretty well if you take me out frequently.

I like my foster home, but I sure hope Santa brings me a forever home for Christmas! Is it yours?
