Mackey is the sweetest dog who loves people, kids, and DOGS!  He is going to make someone a very happy dog owner :)
 
He has a very calm personality and is just starting to learn how to play with toys.  He loves to play with other dogs, but is respectful to their cues when they are not interested.  Mackey loves to snuggle and will crawl into an open lap whenever he can.  He quickly takes to new people and doesn't seem to be too nervous around anyone - he will cuddle with a child, man, or woman - whomever has an open spot and lets him cuddle!
 
Mackey is good in his kennel and he does kennel when we are not home.  He cries a little but typically calms down pretty quickly.
 
Mackey is working on potty training.  He didn't seem to understand that outside was where he should potty when I first got him, but his # of accidents are going down, and he does follow my resident dog outside which helps him put together that the yard is his facility for doing potty business!
 
Mackey is ok on a leash, although I think a harness may be a good option for him.  He loves to run around the backyard and would love a fenced in place to explore, sniff and "zoomie around" although since he is small he could also sufficiently be exercised on walks.
 
Mackey is small weighing in around 15 lbs, with the cutest face that looks like a lab puppy and short doxie legs and build.
