Toby is a 32 lb. terrier mix with a wiry coat.  He’s adjusting to the Minnesota climate having come from Kentucky.  He’s discovered he can walk in the snow and even eat it!  He’s busy smelling his foster home and neighborhood.

As his foster said from Kentucky, he’s a sweet and good boy!  I also have to say that I think he is pretty smart for a 7 month old puppy.  He knows to sit and look with command.  He redirects very easily.  House trained.  Easily gets in and out of the car and seems to enjoy the ride. 

 He has a balance in play time with us and alone.  He’ll play fetch with a ball or chew on a toy.  He cuddles and chills independently.  He’ll need encouragement with loose leash walking as he’s zealous in sniffing all the smells.  I am working on him entering the kennel/crate when I go to work as that is when I see the terrier.  He especially needs safe chew options as he’s chewed a towel & mat cover.  However, he kennels/crates readily at bedtime and sleeps well.

 His Kentucky foster said he was good with other dogs.  Would be good in a home by himself  or with other dogs.  Not certain about cats or children.

 I think Toby would make an excellent family pet!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, neuter, prepaid microchip, 4DX (heartworm/tick disease testing), dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $450.00
