I'm Sammy and I came to Minnesota to find my forever home with my 2 brothers, Seger and Archie. I'm from Kentucky, so you can imagine my surprise when I got here and there was snow all over!  At first, I didn't know what to do, but now I'm a master of running and playing on snow AND ice!  I love chasing my foster brother and sliding across the ice, and my foster mom tells me I should be a hockey player I'm so good!    My mom is always bragging about how sweet I am to everyone!  I rarely give the puppy nip, so I'm good with kids.  I have a 2 yr old and 6 yr old in the family that love to carry me around everywhere with them, and I don't mind one bit!  I love playing with my older foster pup brother and like cuddling up with him, but I REALLY love cuddling up with my humans.  Although my foster brother is fun to play with, I really like playing by myself too and will drag out ALL my toys and play with each of them! I love chewing on rawhide and bully sticks and will do so for as long as you let me!  I do ok with my kennel, especially if people are awake (I'll even run in there and lay down on my own!), but I would much rather sleep with my humans.  I would sleep all through the night if my foster mom didn't wake me up to go potty!  Speaking of, I'm doing REALLY good with potty training! As long as I'm brought out regularly, I have no accidents in the house.  
I just started learning how to walk on a leash, and it's strange!  I'm sure I'll get used to it though!  I typically follow my family around and don't go far from where they are in our yard. I do good in the car, as I usually just fall asleep in the kennel because I know I've got to rest up for the fun ahead! 

I'm looking for a forever family that will love and play with me!  I would be a good fit for any family as I love kids and other animals (including cats!), but I'm happy just playing with my humans too! I'll need a family that understands I'm still a baby so will need to continue to work on kennel training (I get kind of anxious in the kennel when I'm alone and tear up puppy pad and sometimes toys when I'm in there home alone) and that I'll need to be brought out regularly so I can master potty training.  Otherwise, get ready from some puppy loving as I have lots to give!!
