My name is Beau! I am the sweetest 9 month old cockapoo, weighing in at 16.8 pounds.  I do well in my kennel at night, and when I am home alone. I am a nervous pup, but am gaining more confidence daily.  I am getting comfortable with my humans; however, it's taken a few weeks. I know they love me, but who wouldn't?!!!  When I am outside, I run, drop and roll playing with the leaves, sticks, or whatever, often times while proudly carrying my lead! Toys are just starting to peak my interest with my favorite being a knotted sock!  I have already learned navigating steps (which was really scary), I am good riding in the car, really good when getting groomed, and walking on a leash is also going well.  I am still working on house training (I am not sure how to communicate, so sometimes my foster mom will have to carry me outside to do my business).  Since I am just learning to trust my humans, I haven't been too interested in training on my basic commands (I have to get too close for my treats). I am smart; people just need to earn my trust! I would do well in a home with another dog that can show me the world is fun and positive.  I may be a nervous nelly but I am young and have a whole life ahead of me.  I know with time I will love like I will be loved.
