Sammy is a very cute, 2 years-old Chihuahua mix. A thorough Southern gentleman from KY, Sammy is the ultimate snuggle bug! A confident boy, who loves his walks outside, he has become extremely comfortable with his foster family.  He seems to have a proclivity for the female gender, as is evident by his acute affection with his foster mom and sisters at home. :) It took him a while getting comfortable with his foster dad but is now fully at ease with him as well. 
 
He is fully house trained, and relieves himself promptly when taken outside 2 to 3 times a day. 
 
He sleeps in his crate during the night (albeit a little grudgingly!) in his foster parents' bedroom. He settles down quickly though. More often than not he sleeps snuggled in between his foster mom and dad, waking up when they do, to go out for his morning outing. 
 
Sammy loves jumping and snuggling in laps for numerous naps. He doesn't mind the couch either. He's quite the jumper, so care needs to be taken to keep things out of his reach!
 
He will do well in any kind of household. Sammy loves little kids and enjoys playing with other dogs. He is not intimidated by their size. 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, neuter, 4DX (tick/heartworm testing), prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $395.00
