Mama is a beautiful, even-tempered Siberian Husky about three years old.  She is good with teens, tweens, both genders of adults and cats (she is fine with little kids encountered on walks but is unknown with babies/toddlers).  She loves to be outside and is up for an adventure around your neighborhood or at a State Park. She is either indifferent to or gets along with other dogs, although she does not like dogs that get too in her face and will give them a corrective warning. While she loves to go for walks she also loves to sit near you for a good long cuddle.  She is happy to see people she knows and friendly towards those she doesn’t.  She is reasonably good on a leash although she is not consistent about staying on one side or another and likes to be a little bit ahead of you.  She is not interested in fetching or otherwise playing with toys. She sits, stays and shakes on command, but could use reinforcement with the command “come.” She likes to ride in the car for short/medium rides. She can be a picky eater. She is a great family member and happiest when her “pack” is home hanging with her in the yard, living room or out on the trails.

adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, spay, 4DX (tick/heartworm testing), prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $350.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
