Maggie is as sweet as can be, she is a large lab mix puppy. She is great with people and children (has been around 3-5 year olds a lot) as well as with other dogs (of all ages and sizes) and cats. She loves to tag along with whatever you are doing and be included in the fun. She loves to explore outside & play with her foster’s resident puppy, and has lots of energy to burn. She has a medium-high energy level, when she has other dogs and kids to play with but can just as easily relax with the family . She has learned how to swim and enjoys playing fetch in the water. 

Maggie is house trained and does great in the kennel up to 10 hours overnight and when her foster parents are at work. She is learning basic commands such as come, sit, down, back. She is eager to please and treat/food oriented. She can be a bit stubborn at times. She is working on leash training & is learning not to pull. She rides well in the car with no complaints most of the time.  

Maggie would make a wonderful family dog, especially for a family with children and maybe another canine playmate, though she would do just as well without those, too! 

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
