Oaks is the sweetest boy. He is a 1 year old miniature schnauzer. He is energetic, playful and intelligent although he doesn’t really know any commands yet. We have started working on ‘Sit’ and he is catching on quickly. He has not had any accidents in the house and he sleeps nicely in his kennel at night or snuggled in bed with his people. He loves toys, especially ones that squeak, and he is happy to entertain himself when mom works from home. We are working on separation anxiety. He doesn’t like to be left alone. When left in his crate, he tried desperately to get out so we have found it works better to just confine him to the entryway when we are gone. He is small and very quick so care needs to be taken whenever the front door is open. He loves going for walks but is still learning to walk nicely.
