Hi, I’m Kara and I am about 2 years old according to the vet. I traveled to Minnesota all the way from Kentucky with my puppies. I am a female spaniel mix and I have a black and white coat of short to medium length straight fur with black peppered patches on my legs to complete my spaniel look. I am so sweet and kind. I am potty trained with only two accidents when my foster mom was using something really loud called a vacuum. I am not a fan of that noise and like to hide from it. I do share a play area with my puppies and sleep in the kennel with the door open at night so I haven’t tried this thing called “crate” training yet. We are working on basic commands. When I can roam free, I like to be by humans and cuddle. I am also curious about the cats I see but let them do their thing. I also love the little humans (5 years old and 18 months) I see and get excited when they play with me. Sometimes the 18 month old hugs me a lot but I don’t seem to mind it one bit. He also tries to eat out of my food dish like I do, but that doesn’t bother me as much as my foster mom.  I do jump up sometimes and am working on that. I do love to chew and need to be reminded to chew on my toys. I am learning to walk well on the leash and learn to not pull.  I do well once I get in a vehicle but you might need to lift me up and put me in the vehicle as I am timid about getting in. Most of all, I just love to love and I am very caring. 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
