Sammy is a true southern gentleman who recently made the trek up from Kentucky to find his forever family. He spent the first two years of his life on a chain and then after being let off the chain and running around town with other dogs he became sick. His old neighbor who had been feeding him through  the years while on the chain noticed he was sick and was able to intervene and get him nursed back to help. Sammy is calm and thoughtful dog who has gotten along great with his foster sister. He was uncertain at first about all of the sites and sounds of the city since he lived his whole live in rural Kentucky but has adjusted quickly and has already learned how to sit in the week he has been with his foster family. He is good with kids, potty and kennel trained and a great snuggler! His favorite spots are lounging on the couch and cuddling up at night on bed with his foster parents and sister. Sammy would make a wonderful addition to any house. 

Adoption  fee  includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption  fee : $385.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
