Meet Harriet! She is a 7-9 month old Husky mix with puppy energy and plenty of puppy love! Harriet plays well with the resident dogs and cat, and has improved markedly in meeting new dogs around town. As of yet, we don't know how she is with younger kids, but believe she will show them nothing but love. She is a little submissive, but has really come out of her shell, and is getting more confident every day. Harriet loves to cuddle on the couch and in bed, but also cues off the energy in the room and will play for hours! Harriet does not do well in the crate, and would require a basket muzzle or some anxiety meds to be kept in the kennel for long periods of time, as the vet expressed concern for her hurting her teeth trying to chew her way out of the kennel. Any plush or cloth toys stand no chance against her in the crate. However, Harriet is very well house-trained, and has had no accidents overnight, or when left out for a couple of hours. She is still learning her name, so recall will take some time, but she absolutely loves her people. Harriet does great on a leash, and enjoys going for walks. While she doesn't always enjoy getting in the car, she rides fairly well in the car, without any whining, and often spends the entire car ride napping. Harriet would probably do best with a family that has another dog - making alone time easier - but will show so much love and will snuggle no matter where she goes.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00
