Hi! My name is Joy and my foster parents say that the name is pretty fitting considering I bring so much of it when I enter a room! I am half American Staffordshire terrier, half German Shepherd (my foster mom was so curious she got my DNA checked). I would describe myself as timid first in new settings, loud noises make me nervous. All I want to do is be around my humans and my dog sister! I don’t need to be on a leash outside because I have no interest in being away from my humans. I’m potty trained, I know how to come when called, sit, wait, lay down, go to my bed, and more! I am currently enrolled in a doggie boot camp for training purposes and the owner says I’m one of the smarter dogs he’s worked with (plus he says I’m his favorite in the class). I absolutely LOVE to cuddle, so any chance to do that I’m taking! You may be reading this wondering who wouldn’t want me as a doggie companion - well, my foster parents love me so much the plan was to adopt me. Unfortunately, the resident dog that I love so much doesn’t love me back :( I’m still a puppy and love to play. Sometimes my play bites are harder than they should be and I need a confident dog brother or sister to let me know. I wouldn’t hurt a fly and the times that she has let me know that I’m going too far I stop right away. I would love a home where I can run around and play with my family, then cuddle up for some bedtime snuggles :)

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $495.00 ($185 if Elise adopts her)
