Leo is a spunky, energetic and snuggly pup who is around 9 months old and around 25 lbs.

 

Leo is working on learning to walk on a leash.  Leo is about 90% potty trained, and even scratches at the front door when he wants to go outside at his fosters house!  Leo spends time when his foster is away from the house in his kennel and he does very well.  Leo does well in the car, especially riding in his kennel, or in a lap.

 

Leo has a lot of energy and would do best in a house that is prepared to take him for walks/runs, to the dog park, and to play fetch.  Leo LOVES fetching!  Leo has a very silly personality.  He attached to his foster mom VERY quickly, and she believes he will bond to his owner quickly and be a very loyal dog who is eager to please.  He is very smart and is working on sitting, and staying.  He sits for breakfast and dinner, and knows the command it's just sometimes a little hard to remember when he is extremely excited.  Leo also LOVES treats!

 

Leo gets along well with dogs, and due to his herding breeding he will bark at them when he gets excited or when he is trying to get them to respond to him - which not all dogs love :) . 

I have not had Leo around cats.  Leo likes men and women, I have not had him around children, however, he is pretty gentle and listens well so I believe he would do well with children (he may want to herd little ones especially if they are running and squealing).

 

Leo is a wonderful pup who is ready to keep learning and growing with his forever family!
