Meet laid-back Hank! He is a big, goofy, mellow 5 month old Golden Retriever.  Hank came from a breeder in Missouri along with many of his brothers and sisters.  It’s likely that he hadn’t seen much life outside of his crate, but he is learning to love every second of it now! He is adapting to life inside with humans VERY well.  He is working on his house training and does great when kept on a schedule.  He absolutely adores his foster brothers (both fur and human) and chooses his 8 year old human over anything else.  Everyday Hank is getting more comfortable with us, and we continue to see more of his goofy personality and the unlimited amount of love he has to give. We have yet to hear his bark and he LOVES to carry around socks. He will play like a puppy for short periods of time, and then just wants to curl up next to you or on the floor and relax.  But he is always seeking out pets and love.  He is crate trained during the day while we are gone, is learning to walk on the leash and sleeps through the night uninterrupted most nights.  He would do great in a house with other dogs or kids.  He hasn’t been exposed to cats yet, but he would probably do just fine with them as well since he is so laid back.  

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $750.00
