I’m Amelia!  I’m a dainty, spunky, curious and funny girl.  I love playing with various toys, balls, Kong’s, stuffed animals, almost anything.  Sometimes I like to steal my foster moms slippers if she takes them off.  I also love to cuddle with my humans.  I came all the way from Mexico to Minnesota.  I am adapting to the weather with the assistance of a coat my foster mom bought me.  I warmed up quickly to my foster sister (lab), mom and dad.  I really like playing with my foster sister.  My foster family says I would do well in a home with a dog that has an even temperament and willing to let me rough house a little with them.  My foster sister is laid back and plays gently with me.  I can be a little shy and timid initially to new situations but with reassurance from my humans I learn everything is ok.  I’ve been kid tested with a dog knowledgeable kid and did very well.  I don’t know anything about cats though as my foster family doesn’t have one.  I walk nicely on a leash and ride well in the car.  I like to go wherever my humans go.  My foster mom says I’m doing well with potty training, only a couple accidents in the house.  I’m still learning how to alert them that I need to go.  I do go in a crate when my humans have to go to work.  I whine some because I want to be with them.  At night they let me sleep with them and I cuddle up and stay there all night.  If you’re looking for a playful and cuddly dog I’m the gal for you.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $495.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
