Lucy is a 4-year old Australian Shepherd, 29 pounds. She is a sweet and calm girl. She gets along will with our 2 resident dogs and resident cat. She is gentle with children, enjoys short walks and does well on a leash. She sleeps in her kennel at night and is comfortable staying in her kennel for short periods during the day. She LOVES to be around people and will follow around whoever is home. She likes to sit on your lap on the couch and nap by your feet. She is quiet and rarely barks or whines. She likes to be petted and ALWAYS crosses her paws as shown in her pictures!
She was a breeder surrender and has made a great transition into a house dog. She is is now potty trained and will go and sit by the door when she needs to go out. She does still need to lose a little bit of weight, but she is not an aggressive eater at all.
She has adapted well to our home and our family and will make a make a very sweet and lovable pet!
Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
